Meet Mr. Al Johnson, CEO
Al Johnson is a seasoned educator and advocate with a passion for empowering individuals of all ages to stand up against bullying and cultivate positive social skills. With thirty-eight years dedicated to teaching anti-bullying strategies, social skills, diversity awareness, and self-confidence to over 10,000 children, teens, and adults, Al has made a significant impact on countless lives.
Al holds a master’s degree in special education and a bachelor’s degree in business education, complemented by four life secondary teaching credentials.
His extensive career spans twenty-five years as a special education teacher in secondary education settings, where he has been instrumental in fostering inclusive environments and supporting students’ individual needs.
Beyond his work in education, Al is also a master of the martial arts, boasting five decades of experience. While his expertise in martial arts is impressive, it’s important to note that Al does not advocate fighting as a means to prevent or eliminate bullying problems within the Bullies Be Gone Project.
In addition to his educational and martial arts background, Al is a published poet with twelve poetry books to his name. His creative talents extend further as a singer and songwriter, with over one hundred original titles written and five albums released. Through his poetry and music, Al continues to inspire and uplift others, spreading messages of hope, resilience, and unity.
With his wealth of experience, expertise, and creative talents, Al Johnson serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Bullies Be Gone Project, leading the charge in creating a world free from bullying and full of compassion and respect.
